LP08 Luger Ari WW1 Snail-drum Loading Pouch.

A rare Pre-owned WW1 Imperial German LP08 Lange
Pistole Luger Artillery Trommel Magazine - 32rnd Snail-drum
Loaders Pouch. 

The Loading pouch comprised of 4 Separate compartments
which were equipped to take :-

32rn Drum Loading Tool.
Spare wood bottom 7rnd Magazine.
Stripping mag/loading Tool.
Fine (rear sight) Adjuster Tool.

Loading Pouches were issued to German Airshipe Crews and Bi-plane
gunners.They were later adopted by the German Field Soldiers also
known as the "Landser" deployed to both the Western and Eastern
Front.

The Snail Drum known also known as the "Trommel Magazine" was a
formidable weapon adapted to be used with Lange Pistole Luger Artillery
Pistol and later in WW11 with the MP40 Schmeisser.  It was virtually
impossible to load the  32nrd Drum by without the use of the Loading tool.
The Leather Amourers Pouch was attached either to the diagonal
Shoulder-strap which attached to the belt or from the belt.
