THOMPSON CENTER CONTENDER (barrel only)  in .44 Remington Magnum caliber, 8 1/8" ported and threaded octagonal, flawless and glossy bore with pristine deep, glossy blu factory finish, adjustable rear sight, extractor, all made in 1979.  The barrel diameter at the frame is 13/16";  the diameter of the hinge pin hole is 3/8"...Contender measurements.  The threading accommodates a removable choke tube which I never needed and do not have.  The tube is used when shooting shot shells rather than standard .44 cartridges.    When shooting solid projectiles you do need or use the choke tube.  Great for hunting deer, hogs, etc. up to 100 yards.  Overall condition:  99.5%.  I am selling this barrel because I want a .223 caliber.  The price is $395 with free shipping to your home or workplace.  Text or call me at 318-780-4242 if you are interested.
