Walther GSP upper section (Weschellauf) in .32 S&L Long Wad Cutter with 2 Magazines

Description:
Used Walther GSP upper section(Weschellauf) in .32 S&W Long Wad Cutter with 2 magazines (black).  Used, in good functional condition but with fading of finish, some scratches, and engraved prior owner initials on upper surface.  Walther accessory secondary rear sight attached. 

Please note, at current market prices, the pair of magazines alone generally are selling at $400 and more at the current time.

Recoil spring is not in out of box, new condition but is sufficiently strong for use, and can be increased in strength by re-stretching or replacement.  Mechnically perfect otherwise. Bore and other aspects of the mechanism are in perfect condition.

Price includes 2 black magazines.  One or both of these can be omitted in purchase for reduction in price.  The current Walther blue .32 magazines function perfectly with this upper section.  This unit can be used with the Expert series guns, and can be used with all but the earliest OSP and GSP frames.  It will not fit the first series OSP  frames at all.  The earliest GSP frames require modification of the magazine well to be used or cannot be used with it.

This upper section has defects in the finish and initials of a prior owner, and thus the low price.  Please contact seller if ones in far better cosmetic condition are desired.  These can be made available, but at higher price.

If considering relative prices from different suppliers, be sure to consider shipping charges, and whether the supplier even has the magazines available to send, or if they are "on indefinite backorder" for either the upper section, or the magazines.  For most suppliers, even the newer blue magazines are on indefinite backorder.

If used with an OSP frame, the standard OSP trigger will not reach the usual trigger pull weight often used in .32 competition.  Trigger replacement may need to be consdiered, but the trigger group otherwise is fully functional for this upper section, so long as the basic frame will accept a .32 magazine and the OSP grip permits the upper section to be installed.  A few specialized or semi-custom OSP grips will not permit this.

Not listed at this time, upper sections in better cosmetic condition or an Expert .32 upper section can be made available and listed for purchase, if desired, but pricing will be higher.

Please note, these units will only operate with .32 SWL wadcutter ammunition and must not be used with the standard revolver, round nosed ammunition.

While not part of this listing, an Expert .32 upper section, a complete Expert .32, and a variety of other GSP in 22/32 are part of the engineerring collection mentioned above. If these are of interest, please contact seller and listing on this service can be created for those items.  They are not for sale from this specific listing, however, and requests for items not already in the collection cannot be accepted or acted upon.

If more than 2 of the .32 magazines are desired, the magazines are not offered separately.  However, multiple sets of upper section and 2 magazines can be purchased to obtain additional magazines in addiional groups of 2.  The magazines will work correctly in the .32 Expert guns.
