Indistinguishable From The WWI Silvers’ pad --- Just A Whole Lot Less Money!
Ideal For The Following Early Guns:
Purdey, Parker, Fox, Ithaca, Winchester, Holland, Sauer, Merkel, L.C. Smith, etc.
Iindistinguishable From The Orginal Style Including it’s: Style, Size and Color.
A Great Base For A Finishing Leather Pad!
Measures: 6” long X 1 31/32” wide (at the widest point).
Features: Two 5/8' diameter 'knock out' plugs for easy screw access.
Screw holes: 3¼” apart -- Between screw holes is a cavity 1” wide X 2½' long
Color : Orange.
Pad is 1” total depth, including 3/16” black 'hard rubber' base with a top spur which is easily removable.
Helpful Instructions:
1. After installation of the pad, buff it with Vaseline to add a sheen
2. Coat it with varnish, tru-oil, and shellac and let dry. This will preserve the sheen.
