The stem locks in the up position and locks in the folded position however the spring tension causing the stem to pop up automaticly is not working and the stem has to be folded up or down by hand. The eye piece turret raises and lowers when turning the knurled adjustment for elevation. The mounting screw is included. A very common sight for the Remington Autoloader.
