Redfield X-Tube Target Sighting System with RARE Blinder Mounting Attachment.
Description:
This is a Redfield X-Tube receiver sight accessory attachment for Redfield Olympic and International target receiver sights. The front adjustable mount of the X-Tube attaches to the rear scope block on your target rifle. The rear end of the X-Tube attaches to your Redfield Olympic or International Receiver Sight. This X-Tube has a rare mounting block for a non-aiming eye Blinder or Occludder. This mounting block appears to be a well made aftermarket item. The second photo of this X-Tube is shown with a cardboard blinder installed in the mounting block. I made the cardboard blinder from a piece of a cracker box just to show how it looks when installed in the mounting block. Using cardboard for the blinder, allows you to cut it to any shape that meets your needs. This listing is for both the Redfield X-Tube assembly and the Blinder Mounting Block. The last four photos are of information I found on the internet. The last photo is a paragraph from Nick Stroebel's excellent book: "Old Gunsights & Rifle Scopes" published in 2008. The paragraph describes the X-Tube and gives an estimated price for the X-Tube.
This Redfield X-Tube and Blinder Mounting block are used and in very good condition with better than 96% of the original finish remaining. Everything works as designed. The photos show the condition well.
