.45 Colt cartridges, or
rifle ammo .30-30, .45-70, .45-60
Approximately 50 loops.
For .357, .38 and other smaller cartridges it is necessary to lace a leather shoe lace back and forth 
through the loops to make them tight enough to hold them.
