EARLY "H.H. HEISER" FAST DRAW HOLSTER: A unique addition suitable for the finest collection. As pointed out in the "Packing Iron Book" on page 183 this holster features the narrow "quick draw belt loop that avoids interference of the holster in the grasping of the revolver grip......" Other features include more hammer exposure and a smaller trigger guard retainer than on other models. In my opinion these feature give this holster a most attractive profile. This H. H. Heiser model #132 Double Loop Right Side Holster holster takes a 4 3/4 or 5 1/2" Colt S.A.A. perfectly. It is in very good condition, no scars, no scratches, just nice even rich patina. Some stitching at the toe is missing. The upper loop is stamped with the EARLY HEISER CARTOUCHE. The collector know is not often seen as most Heiser marks are hidden on the back of their holsters. The Hermann H. Heiser Manufacturing Co. made this beautiful holster from Premium Skirting Leather. This holster is properly marked with the H. H. Heiser Maker Denver Colo. Trademark inside a long oval, which dates this holster pre. 1900. You will note it has no safety strap as many Heiser holsters have, giving it the feel and appearance of an early frontier holster. The leather is fully alive and will provide a century of wear ready to use.
