This holster is marked both Heiser model #713and VL&A Chicago. A Double Loop Right Side Holster in very good condition. The Hermann H. Heiser Manufacturing Co. made this beautiful Model #713 Double Loop Right Side Holster . It ls made from Premium Skirting Leather Expertly Tooled with a brass unmarked safety strap snap cover and a hand Wrapped rawhide main seam. The H. H. Heiser Company made this fantastic #713 Double Loop Side Holster For the catalog house VL&A. Here it carries a 1st Generation Colt 1873 Single Action with a 5 1/2” barrel length. It is for a right hand shooter. This is a gorgeous Double Loop Side Holster showing almost no use with no cracking or wear. The leather is fully alive and would give a century of use. On the back you see the VL&A mark which would date this holster from 1910 through 1925. You will also find the Oval HEISER STAMP on the toe of the skirt. It would be a perfect partner to your early 20th Century Colt SAA.
