Made from premium, natural 6-7 oz leather, the holster is oiled to a rich Russet Brown and features elegant embossing. It comes with a durable leather strap to comfortably hold the holster on your shoulder. This design pays homage to the traditional craftsmanship with border stamping that closely resembles the original patterns.

The holster is crafted from lighter-weight leather compared to contemporary models, allowing it to conform closely to your body for all-day comfort. You can select either a right-hand or left-hand draw to suit your preference. It fits a variety of large-frame firearms, including those with 4 3/4", 5 1/2", and 6" barrels, such as the 1858 Remington with a 5 1/2” barrel and the S&W with a 6” barrel, as shown in the images.

Our design is meticulously copied from an original antique Texas shoulder holster in the River Junction Collection, akin to those featured in historic Sears and Roebuck or Montgomery Ward catalogs. This careful replication reflects the enduring quality and functionality, unlike the purely decorative Huckleberry Rigs seen today.
