Rare Antique civilian holster for a 1858 Remington revolver. If you have an original 1858 Remington you don't have a civilian holster for it. You can find many military holster for this gun, but a civilian one is quite rare. It has cracks on the surface but none are through and the leather is not flaking. It has no tears and all the stitches are intact. I would say it is for display only. It is my feeling that this is a transitional holster, perhaps for a conversion. Also pictured is the old tag that I got with the holster. The tag describes the gun that was carried in it. The tag will be included with the holster. The gun is not included.
