De Leon’s catalog identifies the knife as follows:
“MODEL SV1 - This sub-hilt, knife model was made for survival use and to withstand rough treatment. The knife was designed for alternative /multiple uses as a skinner, a boot knife and a combat knife. The blade is four inches long with double brass hilts. The blade and hilt are constructed from 3/16 inch thick 440C stainless steel.”
The standard handle for De Leon’s Model SV1 was Black Micarta. However, the subject example is equipped with optional exotic wood scales.
The knife is of full tang construction, equipped with a sub-hilt and is provided with a clip-type leather sheath, both of which are in excellent condition.
