Description: Jean TANAZACQ and his knives. Knives worthy of the name. Flawlessly manufactured .Who should not leave the window because of its line and beauty. The Mézières is a relatively lighter and smaller knife than the Troncay 1, but nevertheless robust and optimized for post-hunting, it can occasionally be used to finish off deer and small wild boars. Its plunging tip gives it a clear trajectory when opening carcasses. The shown models are extremely scarce vintage knife witn an 4-3/4" blade of 440-C stainless stel stock, single brass guard, black micarta handle, solid brass butt cap, wild boar marking on blade, tawny leather scabbard, may 1, 1996 production. Le Charleville only differs from the previous above mentioned model by a slightly concave back at the tip which offers another aesthetic to amateurs and which can be used as well as the other for post-hunting and snacking. Overall length: 230 mm. Blade length: 120 mm. Blade width: 24 mm. Blade thickness: 5 mm. Mounting: full tang construction. Same chararteristics as the listed model but with a shorter blade, made on January 21, 2002 production. All Jean tanazacq's kn ives are in an immaculoate, pristine, brand new condition, so does all the scabbards. Can be purchased separately.
