Jean Tanazacq The Dean of French
Knifemakers Vintage "RC4"
Combat Dagger Made For a Legionnaire October 4, 1984 Production
Description: Jean Tanazacq RC4 Combat Dagger: Scarce vintage and the original very first ever produced model made for a French Foreigh Legion legionnaire with a 7-1/4" blade with a rare mate finish to avid reflection from D-2 steel stock, solid double brass guard, leather washers handle with seven deep grooves, solid brass butt cap with two driiled holes for a wrist thong, brown leathes scabbard covered with pythonskin, wild baor marking on blade, manufactured on Octobe 4, 1984. It is my belief that U.S. knifemakers are making sheaths that are too weak for their knives regardless of the size. Tanazacq makes the strongest, sturdy, beautiful , balanced, and in proportion to each model he makes when it comes to having stunning leatherwork sheaths I've ever seen as seen in this particular scabbard made for that dagger. No trade. Buyer pays shipping. Knife # 22/40 Price: $4,895.00 Contact Seller |
