Description: Timothy K or TK Steingass Takedown Bowie with Sheath There is only the knife and the sheath you see in the pictures When taking tthe pictures there is corrosion on the guard. The pictures show it clearly. Look at Pictures 20 through 25. Hence the knife has been discounted for the corrosion Copied the below from the original add describing the knife........................ Timothy K or TK Steingass vest bowie in W-2/Fiddleback Claro Walnut. Intense fiddleback figure in the Claro Walnut - all pores filled with seven hand rubbed coats of Truoil. The handle has an heirloom fit where it meets the coined copper spacer. This is a VERY light bowie in spite of the double guard - the blade is both hollow ground with a radical distal taper while the spine is rounded. Neutral balance is under in the center of the guard where it should be. The handle is sculptured for a fit that melts into the hand. The hollow ground blade was hand rubbed to 1200 grit, etched and polished to reveal a vivid hamon. The horizontal sheath can be worn right hip or right cross draw. The 4140 double guard is blued - the solder joint is perfectly executed with no pinholes.
