SHIVA KI Genuine Mammoth Ivory Large Damascus Lock back Folder with 1,250 Layers, Mint Condition 1978 Production Wooden Stand

.Shiva Ki genuine large Damascus lock back folder with 1,250 Layers, made in early February 1978 bears an 5-1/8-inch pattern welded blade awith an overall of 11-1/2-inches. Front marking SHIVA KI on the right side of blade,1250 on the obverse, German silver bolster and liner. Mint condition comes with a  display standmade by the maker. Never used, never sharpened, and/or  carried. No cracks in the genuine woolly mammoth handle. This is another exceedingly scarce vitage knife as it is the absolute very first Damascus folder ever created by Shiva Ki (email from the maker is included). Shown in the 1981 extremely rare Shiva Ki knife catalog which is a rarity in today's marketplace. Note: In 25 + years of collecting Ki's knives, this is the only such Damascus folder I've ever seen and own, or even being a non-Damascus model. These type of knives  are an extreme rarity in the marketplace today, not that I am aware of any custom knife purveyors that ever had a similar model for sale as well.  One more thing does the number 1250 on the Damascus folder refer to the number of layers?
