Unique set of two Randall's Model # 12-8" Bear Bowies carved by Paul G. Grussenmeyer. One model is referred as "JEDEDIAH," the only Randall Bear Bowie left that was Grussenmeyer's personal knife, see photo # 5. Knife has a German silver double guard with forward curve, matching German silver and black spacers, selected crown stag handle, the other knife is called ,"SETH-MOUNTAIN MAN," with raccoon hat, which has a stainless steel blade, German silver double guard with forward curve, matching German silver and black spacers, selected crown stag handle. Knowing that Grussenmeyer was to carve these 25 Randall's, the shop took the utmost care as to send him the finest constructed models in contemplation to be carved.
