Blood groove on both sides of blade
21" overall length
Late 18th to very early 19th century made
Original brass and steel scabbard covered in leather
A finely hand forged broad tapering double-edged blade of a classical form
A hilt fitted with a pair of shaped grip-scales secured to the blade's tang by two domed iron rivets
