PRICE REDUCTION TO $1200.00. Joseph Rodgers and Sons excellent condition clip point Bowie with Gutta Percha' grips. Original scabbard with nickel silver throat and tip. One tiny dent in tip of scabbard. Overall lenght is 15 1/4" blade measures 10 1/8". Appears unsharpened with strong lustre. Some slight age stains. Scalloped nickel silver "little skirt" guard. Gripps feature relief carved leaves and chimeras and are perfect on both sides. Scabbard is orginal with good stitching and pliable. Some slight dye loss on scabbard from age. Faint embossing on scabbard is visible. A great Bowie from one of the best makers going back to the mid to late 19th Century. Check photos. Its's hard to photograph this knife due to the reflections from the blade being so good.
