SPECIAL FORCE III by the late Phill Hartsfield features a 9-7/8" blade by 1-3/4" wide of A2 tool steel satin finished double ground upswept blade, and denotes an incredible hamon on both cutting edges with full sharpened top edge from guard to tip, integral hilt with two lugs, full tang construction with red samurai epoxied cord wrap and Turk's head knot, Special Force insigna steling silver Menuki on one side, and a US Airborne Wings Menuki on the other side. This is a very rare and extraordinary piece from Phil Hartsfield as this unique knife was made for an US Army Colonel,(passed away 2-3 years ago) who lives close by Phill's shop in California. It comes with a custom fitted, leather covered, metal lined scabbard. One-of-a-kind piece that was never reproduced. This knife should be handled with the utmost care as both edges are scary sharp!
