WWII USMC Ka-Bar Fighting Knife
Description:
This is an excellent example of a classic fighting knife. The 7" sharpened blade is in excellent condition with USMC on the ricasso and KA-BAR on the reverse. This logo was in use in WWII, this knife having heavy peened butt, rectangular tang and the large USMC on the ricasso, reverse just KA-BAR. The leather handle is very good with a bit of play in a few of the layers. The guard and pommel are unmarked in very good condition. The leather sheath is correct and in very good condition being stitched and stapled. The hardware has light verdigris and still solid.;
