Seller's Inventory #: #2243
#2243 Rarely found pair of buffalo hide Ranchers Winter gloves (as opposed to the more commonly seen horse-hair Rancher gloves that also usually do not have separate fingers), as worn in severe weather areas such as the Dakotas and Montana. These are fully covered with the thick wooly-type brown fur except, of course, the palms, and have full fingers for dexterity ...although you certainly will not be writing letters with THESE puppies on! They appear to be fully usable and in extremely nice condition considering their obvious age (...as it is very unlikely these would be anything later than 1890 or 1910, as they were not knocking off buffalos to make gloves by this time!) They are great decorator items and a rarely seen piece of early Frontier Western Americana. (Please read sellers rules below; good luck ..and thanks for looking!!) $425
