British Royal Marine Artillery Marked Sword
Description: A scarce British officer's sword. This piece has a blade named to the Royal Marine Artillery. This piece is similar to the Patt. 1821 light cavalry sword but with a heavier 34 1/4" blade. Sharkskin and wire grip. The sword is marked "C Robinson Maker Birmingham" on the ricasso and "Proven" on the reverse. The blade has spotted pitting and has been cleaned.
