"US Model 1860 Cavalry Saber by Ames (SW1050)

Description:
"Made in 1863. This is a cavalry saber by ames in very good original polish with very light staining to the blade. The leather on the grip is mostly dry rotted away and you can see bare wood, but the wire wrap is still present and slightly loose. The scabbard has a mostly gray patina with some staining.
