IRON GRAPESHOT FROM THE ALAMO
Description: These 5 iron grapeshot balls were excavated by Mexican workmen while laying a water line along the wall of the Alamo, in San Antonio, Texas. They may have been from a Mexican canister shot, fired during the siege of the Alamo in 1836. They came from a large collection, in Texas. The pink card was with these, when we acquired them, and will go with the balls, to their next home. Diameter: .63" Condition: All are untouched, and as found, in a heavily rusted state. SOLD |
