Krag Bayonet 1900 Date With Model 1903 Belt Attachment

Description:
This is a Krag bayonet stamped US on the obverse of the ricasso and dated 1900 on the reverse. It measures 16 1/4 inches overall with an 11 1/2 inch fullered blade in near excellent armory bright condition, very lightly sharpened with scattered use marks, scratches and some carbon staining and surface pitting. The crossguard and pommel show light use and impact marks. The wood grips rate about excellent with very light use marks. It comes in a steel model 1903 variant belt attachment scabbard with the indented wire belt attachment with limited rotation that is in very fine condition showing much of the original finish with scattered use marks and scratches. An overall very fine example of an 1900 Krag bayonet with the last version of the Scabbard.
