This is an excellent example of a Pattern 1885 Mills Woven Cartridge Belts, complete with a Rhode Island State Militia, Model 1881 Cartridge Belt Plate produced by Anson Mills Pat. Date Feb, 1881 of Worcester Massachusetts. The excellent condition blue/black belt carries 45 cartridge loops, all to carry the .45-70 rifle and carbine cartridges. The brass cartridge belt carries the RI of Rhode Island State Militia and is in very good condition with light signs of use and verdigris. 36"to 50" long.;
