WWI Remington Built M1913 for the Model P17 Rifle Bayonet and Scabbard

Description:
This bayonet was built by Remington for the British army and dated "9/17" marked 1913 Remington on the ricasso and reverse is broad arrow, crown over 4 all stamped over and a US stamped lower. The blade was made for the P14 but kept by the US and used with M1917. The blade is in very good condition with bluing at the base of the blade, light age speckling with factory edge and fine tip. The guard and pommel have some of the original finish. Not sure if the scales on the handle are original and it is missing one of the nuts. These should be marked with two cuts to indicate use with P17 rifle. No oil hole drilled. The scabbard is in very good condition with great finish on the leather body, light oxidation and GF marked.;
