About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for over 50 years. Now I feel that it is time to start selling a few things. All firearms transactions will be handled by a local Gun shop who will follow all firearms laws. All firearms purchased will be shipped by them to your F.F.L. I do my best to price my items fairly. If you see something that you are interested in, and you think that my price is out of line, please make an offer. I don't have much room for negotiation, but I will work with you if I can. I do not have many items to sell. Please keep checking my items and I will try to add regularly to my listings. I hope to find good homes for these items that are special to me. Please read descriptions and terms, I will endeavor to be accurate.
LYMAN JUNIOR TARGETSPOT 8X Vintage Scope with Recoil Spring.
Description: Very Nice Vintage LYMAN JUNIOR TARGETSPOT 8 Power Riflescope. When I bought this one it was mounted on a pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in .220 Swift. Because of the recoil spring, it will handle centerfire cartridges but I wanted to mount it on a 22 LR Target Rifle. I had it on a Remington 521T for years and it was perfect for that. The optics are clear and focus properly. It is 21" long and has a 3/4" main tube. The objective lens measures .8 inch and would probably be called 3/4". The serial number is 348 and it is probably an early year for this scope. They started making this model in 1937. It has lenscaps that go on and off smoothly. It uses standard Unertl type mounts. This is a really cool one that is probably fairly rare. Thanks for looking! Buyer pays Insurance and Shipping costs. TERMS – PLEASE READ; PAYMENT - I can accept money orders, cashier’s checks, bank checks, or personal checks (pending verification of funds). Payments via USPS & UPS are acceptable. My FFL dealer (Dixie Gun & Fish) securely packs and ships each firearm, following all firearms laws, and will include a signed copy of their FFL with each firearm shipped. No private sales on firearms! SAFETY WARNING- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired, and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise. RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges. Please ask questions. I appreciate your interest, and I thank you for your consideration. SOLD |
