U.S. Civil War Military Type Large Powder Flask with A Large Eagle On Both Sides

A Very Early U.S. Civil War Military Type Large Powder Flask With A Large Eagle On Both Sides In Nice Untouched Condition. All original and complete. It has a nice body throughout with tight seams in it. There are a couple of old small dings in it towards the bottom. There is a wonderful "Large Eagle" along with other military motifs on both sides. The entire flask has a wonderful darkening patina on it. The brass top has the same patina. The original spout on top appears to be for a large bore pistol or rifle. It operates perfectly. There is a partial original lanyard still left on it. The flask measures 6 1/2 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide at the bottom. This Is A Very Early Style U.S. Civil War Military Type Large Powder Flask With A Large Eagle On Both Sides Most Likely From The Early 1840'sTo 1850's!
