Antique James Dixon & Sons 12 bore Recapper Tool #2181C

Description:
Antique recapping tool for 12 bore marked as "James Dixon & Sons Sheffield" along with their bugle trademark. The reverse is stamped "1281C". This is in excellent working shape with just a bit of the Black paint missing from the lever. The handle is sound with no cracks and has a bit of use wear. All brass base. Shown with a 2 1/2" hull and it will also take 2 3/4" shells. It is a nice looking tool to add to your collection and it can be used if you choose.
