An Early & Very Rare Probably Confederate .54 Caliber Arsenal Mold For A Mississippi Rifle Or Lorenze Rifle In Fine All Original Untouched Condition. The mold is in fine condition throughout. All original and complete. The large arsenal mold makes six .54 caliber bullets as shown in the photos. The heavy metal bullet mold is very crisp and sharp throughout. The original wood handles & ends are also fine throughout. The scarce mold measures 17 1/2 inches long overall and is 2 1/8 inches high. The iron part of the mold is 7 1/4 inches long. It is 4 1/2 inches wide between the wooden handels. This scarce arsenal mold is most likely confederate as there are no U.S. examples known. Either Way This Is A Very Rare & Early Example Of A Probably Confederate .54 Caliber Arsenal Mold For A Mississippi Rifle Or Lorenze Rifle That Would Be A Great Addition To Any Civil War Collection!
