Unmarked Colt Style Iron Straight Leg 36 Caliber 2 Cavity Bullet Mold
Description:
This is a straight leg, .36 caliber, two cavity bullet mold that is unmarked with maker name but likely for one of the several Civil War revolvers such as a Colt or Remington. The only marking is a "D" on the left block and has the round ball cavity nearest the hing and the other a heeled conical bullet and looks very much like the Colt 1851 Navy mold. In excellent condition it retains much of the original bright blue with numerous use marks. A great tool to pair with your Civil War revolver.
