Mauser C96 Red 9 Shoulder Stock Rig, X-274

Synopsis: Orginal, Mauser C96 Red 9 Shoulder Stock Rig, X-274 Description: Mauser C96 Red 9 Shoulder Stock Rig to include Imperial accepted stock, orginal leather carrier dated “1916” and cleaning rod. Usual stock whose hinge does not have a loop with Imperial acceptance below hinge. Iron #532. Dubious waffenamt acceptance markings on neck and inside lid, though maybe an HzA rework? Original leather carrier manufacturer marked and dated “1916” on back between belt loops. Complete with cleaning rod. No follower spring in pouch. Condition: Generally good. The stock having been revarnished and the fittings darkened as from an old dip blue. Comparable condition leather, oil darkened with crazing as imaged, the lid strap stud having been reinserted, the base leather showing old repair. Cleaning rod is likely a replacement with a tarnished brass/copper ring.
