A beautiful pocketwatch made by Tiffany & Co. NewYork...Open Face Sidewinder...18K gold...engraving inside back cover reads "Presented to W.L. Crounse by Mr. Joseph Pulitzer in appreciation for faithful services July 1st 1889" This pocketwatch runs and works fine. W.L. Crounse ran the Newspaper for Pulitzer in Washington DC. It has a custom leather case that for made for it. Joseph Pulitzer was the source of the Pulitzer Prize and a wealthy newspaper and reporting magnate.
