Description:
High Standard Mfg was well known for the performance of its line of competition target shooting pistols from the 1930s through the 1970s. They developed engineering designs to give users a competitive edge for initial accuracy and quick follow up shots during rapid firing. This Supermatic S-101 has two stabilizer vents on the top of the muzzle to direct vented gas upward to counteract muzzle flip. It also has a groove along the bottom of the 6 3/4" bull barrel for adding weights to reduce muzzle flip. Made in 1954, it was a unique design to make it outperform other manufacturers in competitiions. It comes with one small and one large barrel weight. The phenolic grips have a military style thumb rest for right handed shooters. This firearm is in excellent condition and appears to have been rarely fired. Shipping and insurance is a flat $45 to an FFL near you. If you do not have a preferred FFL, then I can help you locate one near you that will accept the delivery and process the transfer of ownership. If you have any questions about this firearm or wish to purchase it , then call , text, or email me directly. I always enjoy talking to fellow shooting and hunting enthusiasts.
