Serial #177985, 2 3/4 inch barrel with a fine bright bore with some light pitting about half way down the barrel. This is the vest pocket automatic pistol manufactured by Ortgies from 1921-28. The grip safety, semi-automatic pistol is marked "Germany" on the underside of the frame and has the Crown "N" proof. In excellent condition it retains about 95-98% of the original blue finish with slight silvering on some of the high edges and several small freckles on the left side of the slide with virtually all of the nitre blue on the extractor. The smooth walnut Orgies medallion grips rate excellent. It comes with two & seven round, unmarked steel magazines that have writing on the spine. An excellent example of these neat little pocket autos that would would be hard to improve upon. FFL or C&R
