Description:

Beautiful early high polish Mauser HSc, all matching, with matted rib, lanyard recess, marked Eagle/L for Police issue. Left side of slide marked with Mauser Banner and two line address referencing manufacturer, model, and caliber. Usual Eagle/N proofs. Eagle/L marking on left side of trigger guard web. Full serial number on bottom of front strap with last few digits electropenciled inside slide and stamped under barrel. Usual wood grips with pressed checkering. Correct magazine with in-the-white body and Mauser banner floorplate having rounded toe.

Condition:

EXC+, with negligible sharp edge wear. Front and back straps equally good. Grips slightly darkened but only a few handling marks. No repairs. Comparable condition magaizine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A wonderful early Mauser HSc made for the WWII German Police that would be very very difficult to upgrade.
