Mauser HSc WWII German pistol in 7.65mm (.32 ACP) with complete wartime accessories including holster and spare magazines
Description:
Standard late war German military Mauser HSc semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP) with 3.4" barrel and SA/DA mechanism. Left side of slide marked with Mauser logo followed by "Mauser-Werke A.G. Oberndorf a.N." with "Mod. HSc" and "Kal. 7.65mm" . Serial number "949076" appears on bottom of the front strap. Smooth sighting channel on slide, and no lanyard recess on base of frame. This wartime production example features the typical blued finish over noticeable factory machine marks. Military Eagle/359 acceptance on left trigger guard web. Disassembly shows a matching barrel with slide numbering not legible. Wood grips with pressed checkering. Complete with original black leather military holster, manufacturer coded and dated 44, and two spare 8-round magazines with finger extension Mauser banner floorplates. One of the floorplates with a broken/missing toe. The HSc (Hahn Selbstspanner - self-cocking hammer) was Mauser's compact service pistol introduced in 1940, designed as a police and military sidearm during WWII.
Condition:
VG condition, original blue with sharp edge wear and slight thinning in usual areas of contact. Comparable or better condition grips, oil soaked with a few handling marks, forward tips intact/never repaired. Comparable condition magazines, though in the white bodies now greyed, the spare magazine having a broken/missing toe as previously mentioned. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. VG holster with original stitching showing no repairs. A nice WWII German military issued HSc rig, easily upgraded by replacing by replacing the floorplate of the spare magazine.
