Smith and Wesson Model 13 Aircrewman, 2" barrel, Cal. M41 S&W .38 SPECIAL. Serial number C286645, Shipped from Smith and Wesson April 29,1954 and delivered to USAF, Transportation Officer, Wilkins Air Force Depot, Shelby, OH. Aluminum alloy frame and cylinder. Pistol weight 14 3/8 oz.. Matching serial numbers on frame, cylinder and grips. Also matching assembly numbers on yoke and frame. P proofmark by USAF. Condition as shown in photos - Excellent, 90% of bluing intact w/ slight holster and use wear on tip of barrel, front of cylinder and trigger guard. Signed and embossed letter of verification from S&W historian Roy Jinks to owner(seller) dated August 16, 2014.
