Synopsis: High Condition and all matching Astra 300 Pistol, German WWII Military, Delivered May 1943 Description: Very attractive, original condition Astra M300 as shipped to the German military during WWII. This pistol was delivered to the German Armed Forces, then based in southern France on 15 May, 1943. Classic features include forward slide with Astra E/U logo with two line address at rear. Triad of Eibar proofs on left tang with Ñ reflecting production in 1943. Na*i waffenamt E/WaA251 on right tang. Early automatic pistol proof repeated on left side of slide and exposed barrel hood that is also marked with the caliber. Full serial number on slide, frame, and matching barrel. Correct magazine with E/U logo on floorplate. Condition: EXC 98% bright original rust blue finish with a very light scattering of freckling as carefully imaged. Comparable condition fire blued extractor and rust blued magazine. Crisp grips with a few light handling marks. Domes of grip screws faded. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
