Year of manufacture is 1925. This pistol is very close to being super nice. A high percentage of the original blue finish remains on the slide and receiver. Also the grip straps retain a very high percentage as well. This pistol shows little wear overall. Markings are clear and original. The bore is bright and shiny. It shows little wear and will rate a nine on a one to ten scale. Grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. Action is smooth and tight. It works perfectly. The only area you need to be aware of is the left side of the slide. It has a small amount of pitting and is discolored. I made the area look as bad as I could in the pictures. This Colt 1908 .380 is really close to being a great piece. It will make a super shooting addition to any collection. Please let me know if you would like additional pictures.
