High Condition 1912 Colt Model 1908 380ACP Type III

Description:
1910 Colt Model 1908 Hammerless chambered in 380 ACP with a 3.75 inch barrel and factory original high polished charcoal blue finish. This is a very high condition pistol. The original finish still retains all of its dark mirror shine throughout. The fire blue small parts are very strong. The leading edges are sharp and the grip straps are exceptional. As seen in the photos it does show some small areas of light and scattered peppering but outside of that it's hard to find anything else that detracts. Overall the finish rates 97% +. The bore is mostly bright with strong lands and grooves and a few small dull areas. It rates an 8 out of 10. The slide to frame fit is tight with zero wiggle. The chamber area is very clean. The grips are exceptional with sharp checkers throughout. Upgrading this 114-year-old example will be a tough task.
