ARGENTINE MODEL BALLESTER-MOLINA SEMI-AUTO PISTOL IN 45 ACP
Description:
Designed and built by the Argentine company HAFDASA. The Ballester-Molina was made as a more cost-effective option for the Argentine police and military and it replaced the Sistema Colt Modelo 1927 which was a licensed copy of the classic M1911A1. Features a 5 inch barrel chambered in 45 ACP caliber with a good bore that has some light oxidation. Fixed sights. Blued finish exhibits some holster wear at the muzzle. Right side of the slide is stamped "Republica Argentina / Armada Nacional" (National Guard marking) and has an NHM import mark on the frame. Left side of the slide is marked "Pistola Automatica Cal.45. Fabricada Por "Hafdasa". One aftermarket 7-round magazine (all Colt 1911 magazines will function in this pistol) included. Grooved walnut grips are in very good condition. About 90,000-110,000 were manufactured between 1937-1953.
