Colt National Match Pre War .45 ACP, All correct and matching , Factory adjustible sights , correct national matched barrel, ,slide numbered to the frame, correct magazine, bore is very nice. screws are all nice, the parts that are supposed to be in the white for national matches are in the white and polished, has a 4.5 lb trigger pull, the ser# is C 188,645 mfg in 1937, this ser# falls between a few national match guns produced that year all in the 188,xxx ser range. only 20% of all nN.M. pistols have adjustible sights, The national match 45 is the finest .45 target pistol colt ever produced, fron 1932 to 1940. Not very many of these pistols were ever produced . Mechanically this pistol is in excellent working order. I have fired it a few times at the range and it still can produce a nice small group on the target and never misses a beat. great shooter. The finish has been restored by by a very talented person of unknown origin . I bot it this way, The finish is smooth and flawless. A royal blue like the factory did in the 70's, maybe colt refinished it??  Its a beauty of a gun and a perfect example of a National Match of this kind. If you are looking for a NM Colt Pre war Adjustible sight gun the price is right as I have seen some just like it in Factory 99%  finish sell for 10,000.00 dollars and up to 15,000 .
