Description:
For sale is a super nice 100% original Colt 1911A1 pistol made in mid-1943 s/n 1136732. Slide is serial numbered to the frame. This pistol is in outstanding condition and retains a ton of original parkerized finish with approximately 98% remaining. The only detractions on this gun are a slight take down mark and finish on the front grip strap shows a slight brown patina. Wear marks on the slide face, frame, and barrel breach match which shows the barrel is original to the gun. Small GHD cartouche is bright and clearly stamped through the finish as is the ordnance acceptance stamp, both indicators of original finish. Feed ramp is in the white. Barrel has the correct Colt 45 Auto and P on the left side of the lug and small F on the underside. Bore is bright and shiny with no pits or blemishes. Edge wear is very minimal. Comes with very nice Colt magazine marked S on the top of the toe plate and C-S on the bottom. This is a super nice Colt that would be a great addition to anyone’s collection.
