This Colt Government Model 1911 with updated grips, is a semi-automatic .45 ACP pistol, manufactured in 1967, in standard configuration, excellent condition, and complete with an original faux wood shipping box and warranty card.

Description:

Standard configuration Colt Government Model .45 caliber Commercial pistol, made 1967, marked as a Government Model, with caliber and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide and single line address on the right side of the slide above full SN on the right side of the frame. Fixed serrated front and drift adjustable rear sights, trigger and hammer with serrated face and hammer. Top of barrel marked "COLT .45 AUTO." Main components are salt blued with the top and bottom surfaces of the pistol a matte finish. Magazine is blued, marked "COLT/.45 AUTO." on floorplate. Wood grips with large diamond pattern around screws. Complete with an original faux wood shipping box, matching SN on bottom, and warranty card.

Condition:

Excellent, with approximately 98% bright original salt blue finish with sharp edge wear in usual locations and slight thinning of backstrap, principally at bottom of arched mainspring housing. Attractive grips are updated replacements and are as new. Near mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. VG+ condition box with expected shelf scuffs but no noticeable repairs. A very nice Colt Government Model .45 ACP auto pistol from the 1960's with a correct box!
