Impeccable, High Original Condition Hafdasa Ballester Molina 1911 style .45 ACP pistol from Argentina with Original magazine, made for British Military, B5287, FB01511

Description:

Standard configuration Ballester-Molina made in Argentina, most earmarked for the British Military as was true for this pistol. SN: B.5287. Cal: .45 ACP. Full size pistol very similar to the Star Model P with 5" barrel having slide with fixed front and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide marked "PISTOLA AUTOMATICA CAL. 45 FABRICADA PCR "HAFDASA"/PATENTES INTERNACIONALES "BALLESTER-MOLINA"/INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA". “18446” on left side of palm swell and repeated inside slide with the last three digits repeated on barrel lug. Two piece walnut grips with vertical grooves. Eight shot magazine with 5 indicator holes and integral floorplate that is marked with a Hafdasa logo.

Condition:

Excellent original high polish salt blue finish with minimal handling marks. Grip screws may be replacements as slots marred with the domes of screws on right panel faded. Oil darkened grips with a few minor losses. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. An exceptional Ballester-Molina with an interesting history!
