The HK45 series builds upon the design of the venerable USP45 pistol first introduced in 1995 with the inclusion of H&K‚s unique modular grip panels, a 1913 Picatinny accessory rail, and ambidextrous controls. The pistol utilizes a proprietary O-ring barrel design for better lockup and improved accuracy. The pistol retains a hammer-fired design and is offered in a variety of configurations. The C model features a compact design with a shorter barrel and grip ideal for concealed carry.

This model comes in the V7 configuration and features H&K‚s LEM (Law Enforcement Modification) that combines a long initial pre-travel of the trigger for additional safety with a short reset ideal for faster follow-up shots. One 10-round and one 8-round magazine is included.
