The Springfield Range Officer has cocobolo wood diamond checkered grips that feature the Springfield Armory logo and the ergonomics of the 1911 grips fit a wide range of hand sizes. And, if the standard cocobolo wood panels don’t suit your fancy, replacing them is a cinch. As one would expect from a Springfield 1911, the trigger pull is crisp and breaks cleanly after a short travel. The Range Officer’s feature black notch/black blade iron sights which are adjustable for elevation and windage. The Range Officer’s slide is striated with cocking serrations at the rear but does not have any serrations at the front. This 1911 features a manual thumb and backstrap safety as well. The Range Officer is chambered in for .45 ACP and comes with a single stack 7 round magazine. This 1911 comes with the one magazine, papers of authenticity and the box.
